At Diann Banks-Williamson Educational Center we offer your child Adaptive Physical Education, a Quilting program, Special Olympics, Life Management Skills development, and more. We invite you to enroll now so that your child can experience an individualized education and transition program that fosters an optimal level of independence for all student. Teachers will provide concise and accurate feedback to students, parents, guardians, and caregivers as it pertains to student ability and achievement.

How to Enroll
Diann Banks-Williamson Educational Center will be open on September 3 for the 2019-2020 school year. Hours of operation are 9 a. m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
What to bring:
- Parent/Guardian Photo ID
- Proof of Address (two forms)
- Student’s Birth Certificate
- Student’s immunization record
- Student’s transcript/most recent report card
Acceptable forms of Proof of Address:
- Driver's license
- Detroit ID
- Utility bill
- Pay stub
- Official government mail
- Public Assistance documents

Pop Up Enrollment Centers
Detroit Public Schools Community District will operate six Pop-Up Enrollment centers across the city. Don’t wait until September to enroll! Secure your child’s seat by dropping into a Pop Up Enrollment Center near you to take care of your enrollment needs.
The centers are one-stop locations for enrolling children in school for the 2019-20 school year, regardless of their grade. Learn how to apply for application schools and examination high schools.
