Detroit Lions Academy 2019 Open House

On Tuesday, September 24, 2019, Detroit Lions Academy held its 2019 open house at Ford Field. The turn out was spectacular. Families, community members and the Detroit Lions Organization joined together to celebrate the beginning of the 2019-2020 school year. The event began with a wonderful meal that attendees could indulge in while listening to guest speakers. The key topics were attendance and assessment scores. Parents walked away with tons of valuable information on how to improve student achievement. The event closed with students and families having a fun filled time on the field playing football, bean bag toss, and jumping in the bounce house. There was something for everyone to enjoy, even ice cream! We would like to thank parents, families, community members and the Detroit Lions Organization for supporting our students. That's how we do it the D.L.A. Way!
