What's new 2019-2020

Greetings Families of DIA

My name is Sakina Bolden. It is with great pleasure that I start the school year as your New Principal. We have some exciting news based on feedback from our students and families. The Detroit International Academy for Young women will begin implementing it's career pathway of Biomedical Science and Veterinary Medicine.  We are working with partners like The Humane Society and Wayne State to ensure that our girls are fully prepared to enter college or the workforce with certifications before they leave high school. In addition, Elementary and Middle School students will have access to Computer Science, Dance, Art, Gym and more. Applications are still being accepted if you know any other young ladies ready to be a Pink Panther. So spread the word!

We are updating our Brand. Click on the Resource tab and Dress Code for New Uniform information. On August 15th and 16th, DIA will host two Jump Start days. Students will get their schedules, select electives, get books and more.

To stay up-to-date with all that is going on, please ensure that you keep us current with your email and phone number. You may also follow us on our social media sites, Instagram, Twitter or Facebook @diayoungwomen.
