DPSCD finest at your service!

Lawyna Hughley has been dedicated to the Detroit Education Community for more than two decades and counting. Giving her heart and hard work to students and staff along her journey. Starting as a substitute teacher and later earning her Elementary Teacher Certificate from University of Detroit Mercy in 2006, she later stepped into a full-time teaching role in 2008. In 2014, she served as a Lead Teacher with the Educational Achievement Authority before returning home to DPSCD. We are forever grateful for your service and dedication and just want to say thank you for who you are to our school family and all that you do.
