Let’s Read Volunteer Training Session Thursday, February 16, 2023, 5 p.m.-6 p.m. DPSCD is building a culture of literacy for its students. You can help by signing up as a Let’s Read volunteer. Join us for a volunteer training session on Thursday, February 16, 2023, from 5 p.m.- 6 p.m. at the Family and Community Engagement (FACE) office, located at 16164 Asbury Park, Room 109, in Detroit, 48235. Please do your part to help students rise by becoming a Let’s Read Volunteer!
Bethune Leads Wave of DPSCD Schools Exiting State MDE List: Thanks to its school culture and regular attendance, Bethune and more than 30 other DPSCD schools have exited the Michigan Department of Education (MDE) lowest performing list. Read how their progress includes improvements in math and reading.
