Check Out Five Things You Need to Know This Week!
KinderRise Events This Week-Starting Tuesday, September 28! It’s not too late to enroll for the 2021-22 school year (or to begin thinking about fall 2022!). Families are invited to learn about the DPSCD Kindergarten experience:
· Meet kindergarten teachers and school administration
· Tour Kindergarten classrooms and other school spaces
· Engage in activities for students – children can see what it’s like to be a Kindergartener!
· Enroll on-site

Attendance Tips This Week! Parents and families, every school day counts! You can help to lead your student’s regular attendance, whether they are going to their school in person or online at the District’s new virtual school. Here are this week’s tips:
· Be sure to have your child set an alarm clock to help them wake up and get ready for school. Many mobile phones have an alarm clock feature on them, you can even customize your tune to wake up in a great mood.
· Having your child go to sleep at a set time is vital. Find the time that works best and strive to get to bed 10 minutes prior to the set time. This will give your child time to wind down and get a good night’s sleep.
