Look at Our New Garden!

New sprouts poking out of the soil in our new planters

Coleman A Young Elementary School has a new garden! Our Phys. Ed. teacher, John LaCroix, wrote a grant that was funded and paid for a beautiful new garden to be set right outside of one of the gym door exits. It boasts circular planters, easy irrigation for watering, new patio pavers, bench seating, and a tree and other foliage. It is very beautiful and peaceful. Our teachres are alrady taking advantage of this wonderful asset to hold outdoor classes. We are already seeing many vegetables growing like lettuce, beans, and peppers!
