Cooking Club at the Virtual School!

The DPSCD Virtual School Cooking Club has been exploring the world of food and having a wonderful time! They spent the first weeks learning about flavor profiles, tools & techniques, and browsing recipes to try. They rubbed elbows (via YouTube) with the likes of Gordon Ramsey and Chef Jean-Pierre but chose Home Chef Natasha Kravchuk’s “Chicken Chili” as their first recipe to try together.

Student chefs had the option to cook along with Mrs. Lukasek (Club Sponsor) during Club time or prepare this delicious dish later. They took notes on the variety of substitutions and techniques shared during this live cooking session. Junior, Sasha Lambert, cooked this Chicken Chili for her family and got rave reviews!

The Cooking Club looks forward to their next culinary adventure together!
