DPSCD School Spotlight of the Week: Cass Technical High School is celebrated and widely known for its high academic standards and diverse extracurricular activities. Offering programs like Dual Enrollment, AP courses, and a prestigious IB Diploma, Cass Tech prepares students for college and beyond. Cass Tech offers various clubs such as Academic Games, Robotics, and Business Professionals of America. Supported by an active alumni association, Cass Tech provides multiple internships and scholarship opportunities for their students. The school will be hosting an Open House on Thursday, November 14 from 5-7 p.m. for prospective students. Trauma Informed Parenting Parent Academy Workshop: Join the Trauma Informed Parenting Workshop to learn how to create a compassionate and secure space for children who have experienced trauma. Proposal S on the November Ballot: Proposal S DPSCD is engaged in an education campaign for Proposal S that will appear on the November ballot. Dr. Vitti has scheduled information sessions to provide important facts outlining the benefits and importance of this millage. Please encourage your staff, families, and community partners to attend a Proposal S virtual session. Quarter 1 Report Card Available Today! Report Cards were distributed today, Monday, November 4th, and can be viewed in the web version of the PowerSchool Public Portal. In addition to grades and report cards, the Public Portal allows you to see your student’s attendance and scheduling information. If you need assistance with accessing the Parent Portal, please reach out to your school.
