STEM Enrichment Opportunities - Free Camps!

SEEK Camp (Elementary School)

In the SEEK Camp - offered by the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) - students will be exposed to the world of STEM (science, technology, engineering and math). There is a preparatory week, a coding week, a drone week, and a robotics week. Students will learn how to design, build and test their projects for a final submission. NSBE will provide every student with an Amazon Fire tablet to ensure access to the platform and curriculum kits will be shipped to the address on the application.

Grade(s): 3rd - 5th Grade

When: June 14th - July 2nd OR July 19 - August 6th

NAF Future Ready Scholars at Michigan (High School)

In the NAF Future Ready Scholars program, students will explore robotics, computer programming, 3D-printing and website design. Students will also take part in college and career readiness sessions, SAT prep and job-shadowing. Participants can remain in the program throughout the next school year (2021-2022).

Grade(s): 9th - 11th Grade

When: July 12th - July 24th
