Parent Academy Workshop: DPSCD Families, join us at Munger Elementary – Middle School this Tuesday, September 10, 2024, for the free Painting with a Purpose parent academy workshop. This workshop will teach you how to use the beauty of art and painting to cope and manage stress and other mental health challenges. We look forward to seeing you at 8 a.m. Get more information about additional workshops happening this week.
Family Resource and Distribution Center (FRDC): Next Delivery - Thursday, September 12, 2024. Each month, the FRDC receives a generous donation from Frito Lay's Feed the Children Program that supports all DPSCD students and their families. Available resources include hygiene products, dry goods, water, school supplies, backpacks, children’s books, and at times coats are available. These resources can be requested by all district families and delivered through School Parent Outreach Coordinators and Attendance Agents. Prior to your visit, please submit this form. The Family Resource Distribution Center at the Family and Community Engagement Office, 16164 Asbury Park, Detroit, MI 48235, is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Come to door 6 via the parking lot on Murray Hill. (formerly Adult Education West).
ESE Parent Advisory Committee (PAC): Join the Office of Exceptional Student Education for our monthly PAC Meeting on Wednesday, September 11, from 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Visit detroitk12.org/ese for more information.
