Examination High School Round 2 for 2022-23 School Year is Open! Apply now to Cass Tech, CMA, King, Marygrove, Renaissance, & Southeastern! Also, families of current 8th graders join us for the 9th grade Examination High School webinar on Thursday, June 16, 2022, from 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m. You’ll learn what makes our Examination High School’s unique as well as how to apply for admission.
Stay Smart with Summer Learning Experiences 2022: Parents, register now to ensure your student stays smart this summer with DPSCD’s Summer Learning Experiences, from July 11 to August 4, 2022. Programming includes credit recovery, academic acceleration as well as a myriad of fun, free after-school enrichment activities ranging from sports camps, dance and much more. Food and transportation are provided. Seats are limited and registration is set to close on June 24.

DPSCD Pride Festival is Saturday, June 18: Be part of DPSCD Pride 2022! Pride Festival will take place on Saturday, June 18, from 1 p.m.-5 p.m. at Detroit School of Arts at 123 Selden St. The event will include student performances, a student art show, vendors, food, and a dance party. Summer on the Block 2022: Save the date of Thursday, July 7, 2022, the official kickoff of Summer on the Block 2022 events. The event will be held at various school locations each Thursday through August 4. Summer on the Block is a family-friendly experience that includes access to resources, food, games, school supplies, as well as enrollment information about DPSCD schools.
