Check Out Five Things You Need to Know This Week

DPSCD School Spotlight of the Week: This week, we’re excited to feature Paul Robeson Malcolm X Academy (PRMX), a school committed to celebrating African heritage through its African-Centered Education (ACE) program. Serving students from Pre-K to 8th grade, PRMX combines a culturally rich environment with academics. PRMX offers a variety of empowering programs, including the Student Leadership Team, where students develop leadership and problem-solving skills, and the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS), which recognizes academic achievement and leadership while encouraging service projects. Through partnerships like the one with Michigan State University, PRMX provides nutrition classes to promote healthy living. PRMX also offers the National Heritage Youth Program to instill knowledge and pride in African heritage. The admission window opened today, Monday, February 10, 2025, at 12 PM, for the 2025-26 academic year. Join a school that blends education with cultural identity. Visit the PRMX website or contact the administration office to learn more about this inspiring community.
