STEM Students Travel to Detroit Public Television Studio
STEM Students Visit Detroit Public Television Studios
A small group of students from the eighth grade STEM classes were able to visit Detroit Public Television in Wixom on Tuesday, October 28th. The twelve students were chosen because they expressed an interest in learning more about careers in the area of digital media. The students ran the cameras, teleprompters, conducted interviews, acted as news anchors, controlled the sound board and ran the floor. It was a phenomenal experience! Many thanks to Mr. Donald Walker from The Detroit School of Arts for reaching out to the students at Brenda Scott. We look forward to learning more about the digital media program available at DSA.
