You are Invited to Discuss a Possible School Name Change

Detroit Public Schools Community District's Board of Education voted to initiate the engagement process to consider a school name change process at Dr. Benjamin Carson High School of Science and Medicine. Per board policy, a survey is available for alumni, students, families, staff, community members, and school partners to vote on a recommendation for the Superintendent and School Board to review. Please join us at an upcoming engagement session to discuss the possible school name change and share your thoughts in the survey.

Please be advised that the school name change surveys for will close at the end of the day on November 1, 2022. This will allow participants to have a full two weeks to complete the survey while providing the Superintendent and School Board time to review the results prior to the November School Board Meeting.
