Parent Academy Workshop-Parenting with Intention: With the term, “gentle parenting” becoming more common, DPSCD provides healthy options for families to nurture their students. Join the virtual session on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. and receive insight on child development, appropriate behavioral expectations and preparing your child for school success as we Parent with Intention. ESE Virtual Back-to-School Engagement Session: Join the Exceptional Student Education team as they prepare students and their families for Back-to-School. This virtual engagement session will be held on Thursday, August 15, 2024, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Come learn more about ESE updates, connect directly with department leadership, and receive resources for your student. Virtual orientation for NEW and returning Adult Education students: The Adult Education Program will host three virtual orientation sessions for returning students Tuesday, August 20, 2024, Thursday, August 22, 2024, Tuesday, August 27, 2024 and Thursday, August 29, 2024. The session will be from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Upon registration completion, a link will be provided to the virtual session. Contact your career coach if you have any questions.
