Back to School Packets: Back to School enrollment packets for the upcoming school year are now posted online for families. Paper packets will be distributed to all students during the first week of school. Families can print their own packets now from the website if they would like to get this process completed earlier. Parent Academy Workshop- DPSCD American Sign Language: The DPSCD American Sign Language (ASL) course provides children and their families with the opportunity to learn beginner-level ASL signs in a fun and informative environment. Join our next virtual course onTuesday, August 6, 2024, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Come and learn more effective communication skills. Explore the full list of Parent Academy Workshops available this week.

Kindergarten Oral Health Assessment: DPSCD Families, this fall, Kindergarten students or first-time first graders must have an oral health screening on file before entering school. Families will have four options on how to get the assessment form filled out.

  • Go to their dental home.

  • See the dental provider assigned to their school.

  • Attend an event where MCDC is doing assessments.

  • MCDC will be assigned a date in DPSCD schools to complete the evaluation.

Summer School Report Cards will be distributed for ESE Center-Based students on Friday, August 9, 2024, and can be viewed online in the PowerSchool Public Portal. In addition to grades and report cards, the Public Portal allows you to see your student’s attendance and scheduling information. If you need assistance with accessing the Parent Portal, please visit the Parent Portal guidance page or reach out to your school.
