Get Involved with National Reading Month Activities This Week: DPSCD students and other children will be reading to younger students (ages five to 12) every Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. from now until June 24, 2021. It’s part of the Wayne Pediatrics Virtual Bedtime Stories: Children Reading to Children collaboration between the District and Wayne Pediatrics. Tune in at 7 p.m. at http://bit.ly/WaynePeds. Many books to be read in English, Spanish and Arabic.
Women’s History Month Film Screening Miss Representation Thurs. March 25th 6 p.m. Be part of DPSCD’s recognition of the accomplishments that women have made during #WomensHistoryMonth2021 with the film screening of Miss Representation. Social-Emotional Learning Day is Fri. March 26th: DPSCD is “Building Community Through Celebration” with Social-Emotional Learning Day this week (Fri. Girls Dream Big Speaker Series Thur. March 25th at 5 p.m. The Detroit Pistons invite DPSCD students and staff to participate in this second annual series geared to inspire young women leaders, entrepreneurs as well as enriching communication.
