All Schools and District Offices Closed Tomorrow, Tuesday, January 21st, 2025

DPSCD Families, Students, and Staff,

Please be advised that all District schools and central offices will be closed tomorrow due to subzero temperatures with the windchill. As you know, more than 50% of our students walk to and from school or require school or city bussing, which would leave them exposed to dangerous temperatures in the early morning and afternoon. All after school activities, including athletic practices and home games are cancelled for Tuesday. We will monitor the weather forecast tomorrow to determine the status of closure for Wednesday. The current forecast for Wednesday would suggest closure but reopening on Thursday. A final decision regarding the status of school and after school activities for Wednesday will be made tomorrow.
