Renaissance becomes 1st Detroit school to receive National PTA School of Excellence Award
At the November 13 Regular Board meeting, the Board of Education and Dr. Vitti recognized the Renaissance PTA for achieving the core value of Excellence, which states - Be relentless in your pursuit of greatness. Be bold and innovate. Learn from your mistakes. Hold yourself and others to high standards.
Renaissance High School PTA received the honor of being the first school in Detroit to be named a National PTA School of Excellence. The National PTA School of Excellence is a recognition program that supports and celebrates partnerships between PTAs and schools to enrich the educational experience and overall well-being for all students.
The following representatives were recognized by the Board for being instrumental in receiving this honor:

- Monique Martin-Johnson, President - Renaissance Phoenix Parent Teacher Student Association
