Data is undeniable – students who consistently attend school are significantly more likely to read at grade level by the 8th grade and are four times more likely to be college and career ready when they take the SAT.

For instance, the invincible Renaissance High School Girls Basketball team clinched the Public School League (PSL) championships, a testament to their dedication in school and on the court. The unstoppable cheer and competitive spirit of the Renaissance Cheer Team pushed them to victory. The Cass Technical High School Boys Basketball team's relentless determination to triumph during the PSL championship against Renaissance, securing a final score of 72-70. Then there is the Martin Luther King Jr. Senior High School Wrestling Team, showcasing strength and strategy with their impressive PSL championship title.

We celebrate these outstanding student-athletes who stand out for their commitment to academic excellence and their passion for their individual sports. It is the daily dedication to their studies that enables them to triumph in their athletic pursuits.
