The Expect Respect Character Trait for January is Citizenship: Families, students, and staff, take time this month to gain a deeper understanding of citizenship and what it means in school, at home and in service to others. Fill out your pledge cards:

Also, a reminder that Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is Monday, January 17, 2022. Keep an eye out for district wide and school level activities to celebrate and honor the civil rights icon.
Student Representative to the Board of Education Applications Due Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2022: A reminder that Student Representative applications to act as ex officio members to the District’s Board of Education are due Tuesday, January 4, 2022. Read the application for more information on the opportunity to champion the voice of fellow students while receiving guidance and support from DPSCD staff and the elected Board. Also, get details on the Student Leadership Courses offered by the Office of Family and Community Engagement (F.A.C.E) that resume this week!
