Fall Enrollment

Welcome!

At Bagley Elementary School of Journalism and Technology, we offer your child a Journalism and Technology themed program, a rigorous new English Language Arts and Mathematics curriculum, and a dedicated staff that encourages high expectations and academic excellence for all.  All students are provided with laptops, and Art, Journalism, Music, and Physical Education Electives.  We invite you to enroll now so that your child can experience positive results and a nurtured environment for learning.

How to Enroll

Bagley will be open Monday through Friday from 8:30AM- 3:40PM.

What to bring:

  • Parent/Guardian Photo ID
  • Proof of Address (two forms)
  • Student’s Birth Certificate
  • Student’s immunization record
  • Student’s transcript/most recent report card

Acceptable forms of Proof of Address:

  • Driver's license
  • Detroit ID
  • Utility bill
  • W-2
  • Pay stub
  • Official government mail
  • Public Assistance documents

Pop Up Enrollment Centers

Detroit Public Schools Community District will operate six Pop-Up Enrollment centers across the city. Don’t wait until September to enroll! Secure your child’s seat by dropping into a Pop Up Enrollment Center near you to take care of your enrollment needs.

The centers are one-stop locations for enrolling children in school for the 2019-20 school year, regardless of their grade. Learn how to apply for application schools and examination high schools.
