DPSCD Virtual Art Exhibit will include 7 pieces of artwork from Thurgood Marshall

Second Year for students Art pieces display!

Thurgood Marshall will have seven pieces of artwork on display  at the 83rd Detroit Public Schools Community District Virtual Art Exhibit at the Detroit Institute of Arts, 5200 Woodward Ave, Detroit, Michigan. The event will open from 5/18/2020 thru 6/28/2020.  Ms. Bartz, Art Teacher,  submitted the students' pictures for the exhibit and she is so proud of their work. Plan now to attend and please stop by to see the children's beautiful masterpieces.  

The following students will have their work on display:

  • Kindergarten: Aiden Thomas- Line Monster
  • Kindergarten: Jacob Gray- Rainbow with Mixed Colors
  • Kindergarten: Baylee Kilgore- Panda Face
  • Kindergarten: Israel Hale- Trees Near and Far
  • First grade: Treasure Carson- A Bunch of Trees
  • Second grade: Ameena Heyward- A Beautiful Dragon
  • Fourth grade: Ja'Rhia Fant- Circles and More Circles
