How to Enroll

Thurgood Marshall Elementary-Middle School will be open Monday-Friday, starting June 24 from 9:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. times for parents to come and enroll. The school will be closed for July 4th and July 5th for the holiday. 

What to bring:

· Parent/Guardian Photo ID

· Proof of Address (two forms)

· Student’s Birth Certificate

· Student’s immunization record

· Student’s transcript/most recent report card

 

Acceptable forms of Proof of Address:

· Driver's license

· Detroit ID

· Utility bill

· W-2

· Pay stub

· Official government mail

· Public Assistance documents

Pop Up Enrollment Centers

Detroit Public Schools Community District will operate six Pop-Up Enrollment centers across the city. Don’t wait until September to enroll! Secure your child’s seat by dropping into a Pop Up Enrollment Center near you to take care of your enrollment needs.

The centers are one-stop locations for enrolling children in school for the 2019-20 school year, regardless of their grade. Learn how to apply for application schools and examination high schools.
