Join a K-8 Eureka Math Sessions this Month!

DPSCD’s Office of Mathematics and Office of Family and Community Engagement launched The Eureka Math for Families, an 18-session, virtual series that will

  • Enhance parents' and guardians' understanding of major concepts and strategies in Eureka Math by collaborating with DPSCD Master Teachers
  • Strengthen parents' and guardians' ability to support critical knowledge acquisition of their child's grade-level mathematics and improve achievement
  • Reinforce concepts taught in class, so parents and guardians can have discussions with their child about mathematics at home

Learn how to support your child's understanding of grade-level mathematics. Our Master Teacher-led series of Math Sessions will explore the key strategies in Eureka Math and provide tips for your family to use at home. In addition, The Monday Math Session presentations will be followed by Thursday Office Hours where parents can further discuss, and practice topics presented during the Math Session.

October’s Math Session will be hosted on Monday, Oct. 5 and office hours will be held Thursday, October 22. All sessions are held virtually on Microsoft Teams. Please visit, detroitk12.org for a list of dates, times and meeting login information.
