COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics at DPSCD Hubs This Summer: In partnership with the Detroit Health Department (DHD), the District is providing COVID-19 vaccinations at its three Technology and Family Resources Hub locations. The clinics are available from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Monday’s at Munger Elementary-Middle School, Wednesday’s at East English Village Preparatory Academy (EEVP) and Thursday’s at Renaissance High School. DPSCD Parent Academy Summer Sessions This Week-Enrollment: If you need help with enrolling at a DPSCD School, we have support for you through the Parent Academy. The Office of Enrollment will conduct an online workshop, Enrolling in DPSCD, Tues. July 20 from 4:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m. Please visit www.detroitk12.org/parentacademy for further details as well as information on other great classes this week! We can’t wait to see you in school when the 21-22 school year begins on September 7!
Summer on the Block Thurs. July 22 at Mumford High 1 p.m.-3 p.m. Come and join us for Summer on the Block this week and get helpful resources, access to support services as well as information about your school community. DPSCD School Video Tours: Osborn High School There are more than 100 K-12 schools in Detroit offering programs to fit your child's needs. Each of the DPSCD high schools offer a unique career pathway and when enrolled in a DPSCD school, your child will be eligible for the Detroit Promise Scholarship, a 2- or 4-year scholarship upon graduation from high school. The Annual Back to School Expo is Sat. Aug 28, 2021 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.! Meet and greet school staff, explore school programs, and get your questions answered as you prepare to return to school on September 7. The Back to School Expo will be held at three convenient locations: East English Village Preparatory Academy, Western International High School and Randolph Career Tech Center.
