6th Graders Visit the Ofrendas Exhibit at the DIA

The 6th grade students have been studying about art in relation to Mexican and Latin American tradition of Dia de las Muertos.  The students worked hard on designing sugar skulls, which are used to celebrate loved ones that have passed away.  The students learning was expanded beyond the classroom walls on November 7, 2019, when they went to the DIA in downtown Detroit to visit the Ofrendas exhibit.
