Check Out Five Things You Need to Know This Week
DPSCD School Spotlight of the Week: Breithaupt Career and Technical Center (CTC), a school dedicated to equipping students with the skills and experiences they need for thriving careers. Breithaupt CTC recently received a $1 million gift from the Joel Landy Foundation. This incredible donation will enhance the school’s automotive education program, providing students with access to the Joel Landy Automotive Training Lab featuring state-of-the-art equipment. Now students in grades 10–12 can gain hands-on experience in areas like collision repair and automotive painting, all while preparing for high-demand careers in the industry. The funding will also support new internship opportunities, setting students up for success in real-world professional environments. Breithaupt offers a diverse array of programs tailored to students’ interests, including Culinary Arts, Cosmetology, Welding, and Automotive. From cooking up gourmet meals to perfecting automotive repairs, Breithaupt students are building skills that will serve them for a lifetime. Learn more about how your students can showcase their skills at Breithaupt CTC by visiting the school’s website.
