RHS Green Team visited their community partner, Green Boots Veterans Gardens

On Tuesday, October 15, 2024 the RHS Green Team visited their community partner, Green Boots Veterans Gardens. During the visit, students had the opportunity to speak with a representative from Lightstar Solar, a solar panel company, and a Renaissance alum about a scholarship opportunity for those pursuing agricultural fields at HBCUs. The students also enjoyed working around the farm, preparing for winter, and planting blueberry bushes. A huge thanks to Travis Peters, the owner and operator, as well as the More Life Foods plant-based food truck for their support.
