Renaissance High School is accepting enrollment for students who were admitted during the 2019-20 admissions cycle. The deadline to enroll was May 15. Students who missed that deadline may lose their seats. If you have not completed enrollment, please contact Coretta Strong or Belita Mitchell at (313) 416-4600 today regarding your enrollment.
The deadline to apply for admission to Renaissance High School is Friday, June 28, 2019, for fall 2019 admission. The final test date is Friday, July 12, 2019.
Students who have unsuccessfully applied during the 2018-19 school year are not eligible to apply during this cycle.

How to Enroll
Renaissance High School will be open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for you to come and enroll your child. Please Note: Your child must have taken the exam and also confirmed their seat at our school in order to be enrolled.
What to bring:
- Parent/Guardian Photo ID
- Proof of Address (two forms)
- Student’s Birth Certificate
- Student’s immunization record
- Student’s transcript/most recent report card

- Driver's license
- Detroit ID
- Utility bill
- Pay stub

Pop Up Enrollment Centers
Detroit Public Schools Community District will operate six Pop-Up Enrollment centers across the city. Don’t wait until September to enroll! Secure your child’s seat by dropping into a Pop Up Enrollment Center near you to take care of your enrollment needs.
