Renaissance Senior Tyrone T. Honored by Detroit City Council for Leadership and Excellence

Renaissance High School proudly celebrates senior Tyrone T., who was recently recognized by the Detroit City Council for his outstanding perseverance, leadership, and academic excellence. This meaningful honor highlights Tyrone’s dedication to both his school community and the city of Detroit.

A proud four-year member of the JROTC Phoenix Battalion, Tyrone currently serves as the Ordnance Officer, a role that reflects his commitment to service, discipline, and teamwork. His peers and instructors know him as a dependable leader who consistently goes above and beyond in everything he does.

Tyrone’s future is just as impressive as his accomplishments. After graduation, he plans to attend Caucasus University in Tbilisi, Georgia, where he will pursue a career as an interventional cardiologist. In addition to working toward this ambitious medical dream, he is already preparing by gaining experience as a CNA and phlebotomist.

Beyond academics and leadership, Tyrone is a talented creative writer and visual artist who loves learning new languages and exploring different cultures. His drive to grow and serve others continues to set him apart as a remarkable Renaissance Phoenix.
