Begin your career in construction trades at Randolph Career and Technical Center

The only career and technical center within DPSCD to offer hands-on learning in the construction trades.

Established September 8, 1981; A. Philip Randolph Career and Technical Center continues to lead the way in developing students in the area of construction trades, which includes:

Construction Carpentry, Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVACR), Construction Masonry, Construction Plumbing & Pipefitting, Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD), Construction Electricity, Entrepreneurship/Construction Project Management, Painting and Decorating /Drywall Finishing, Welding for Construction Trades

Students who choose to attend Randolph, will be provided with a curriculum that combines integrated academic and technical content with employability skills needed for the 21st century.

Students receive work based learning opportunities that enable the student to connect what they learn in the classroom, and apply that knowledge to real work experiences.

Upon completion of the construction trades programs here at Randolph; students will be prepared for the many career paths of architecture and construction or continue their education at a post-secondary school or apprenticeship program.
