7th & 8th Graders Work to End World Hunger!

In November, the students in grades 7 & 8 worked on a service project to help shrink world hunger.  They played Free Rice, and won ten grains of rice with every correct answer in a variety of categories.  Many students increased their vocabulary at the same time.  Originally, the goal was 400,000 grains of rice.  However, the students reached over a million grains of rice.  The sponsors of Free Rice made immediate donations to the World Food Programme in Rome, Italy.
