Summer Learning Experiences 2022 Registration Opens Soon: Students and families, save the date: May 9, 2022, that’s when registration for Summer Learning Experiences opens. In addition to academic enrichment, this year’s Summer Learning Experiences will include after-school activities such as sports camps, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), Fine Arts and more. Summer Learning Experiences 2022 in DPSCD’s air-conditioned schools occurs from July 11-August 4.
Students are Rising at DPSCD: Our students are taking advantage of the programs provided by DPSCD that will lead to enriching careers as well as college readiness. Read about two students from Pershing who are successfully balancing their schoolwork while playing two sports!
The 85th Annual DPSCD-Detroit Institute of Arts Student Exhibit Returns in Person This Week: Districtwide student artwork will be showcased at the DIA from April 23-May 29. Support the artistic expressions of our talented student artists by visiting the DPSCD exhibit. #StudentsRise

Parent Academy This Week: Learn about the amazing K-12 STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) opportunities that your students are part of while attending their school during a free workshop on Tuesday, April 19 from 6:30 -7:30 p.m. You’ll get details on programs such as Chess, Robotics, Academic Games and more.
