School is out but the learning fun should continue. Please review the summer Parent Academy catalog for a workshop coming near you. By now, your child is probably enrolled in a Summer Learning Experience, if not you still have time. If you haven’t already updated your contact information at your home school, please do so immediately. And lastly, save the date for the Grand Back-to-School Expo, Rise Up with DPSCD on Saturday, Aug. 28. We will have three school locations to support your fall return to school.
Save the Date for DPSCD’s Summer on the Block—Coming to A Block Near You Starting July 8, 2021! Join us at John R. King Academic and Performing Arts Academy as the District kicks off Summer on the Block on Thurs. July 8, 2021 from 1 p.m.-3 p.m. You can learn about DPSCD’s programming for your child while enjoying a festive atmosphere that includes food, music, and giveaways! Summer on the Block events will be held every Thurs. through Aug. 26, 2021. We want to see you on the Block this summer!
