Computer Science Education Week is upon us!
Students in grades 3-8 are, once again, partaking in the largest learning event in history- Hour of Code! It's a global movement with more than 100 million learners in 180 countries.
The Hour of Code is a spark to keep learning computer science. Once students see what they create right before their eyes, they're empowered to keep going.
Every student should have the opportunity to learn computer science. By starting early, students will have the foundation for success in any 21st-century career path.
Big thanks to Mr. Marsh and Ms Tyra, our City Year members, and Ms Ally, IT specialist at Comcast, for joining us this week to assist our kids with Hour of Code instruction and inspire them to pursue fields in technology.
