Calling Students to Participate in D-HACK 2022

Detroit Public Schools Community District (DPSCD) invites all students interested in advancing your knowledge of computer science, marketing and entrepreneurship to register for D-HACK 2022, a Hackathon event in which teams of three, using computer software and engineering, compete to develop a Snapchat Augmented Reality Filter in 12 hours.  

The event will be held at the Ford Resource and Engagement Center (FREC), Southwest Campus, located at 2826 Bagley in Detroit on Saturday, December, 3, 2022, from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. 

DPSCD is seeking 51 students to participate. Students can register as a team of three or as a single and are placed on a team. And there are prizes to be won! 

Thanks to support from generous sponsors, the winning team earns $1000, with the second-place team netting $500 and the third-place team pocketing $250. Plus, everyone wins free merchandise.
