Fall Enrollment and Pop-up Centers

At Nichols Elementary/Middle School we offer your child a rigorous academic program, art, and physical education. We invite you to enroll now so that your child can experience a Nichols education with positive results in our school environment.

How to Enroll

Nichols will be open June 24 – August 23 9am – 3pm

What to bring:

· Parent/Guardian Photo ID

· Proof of Address (two forms)

· Student’s Birth Certificate

· Student’s immunization record

· Student’s transcript/most recent report card

Acceptable forms of Proof of Address:

· Driver's license

· Detroit ID

· Utility bill

· W-2

· Pay stub

· Official government mail

Pop Up Enrollment Centers

Detroit Public Schools Community District will operate six Pop-Up Enrollment centers across the city. Don’t wait until September to enroll! Secure your child’s seat by dropping into a Pop Up Enrollment Center near you to take care of your enrollment needs.

The centers are one-stop locations for enrolling children in school for the 2019-20 school year, regardless of their grade. Learn how to apply for application schools and examination high schools.
