Expect Respect Rally 

Detroit Public Schools Community District (DPSCD) launched the “Expect Respect” campaign in every school, through the District’s revised Student Code of Conduct, in time to raise awareness around National Bullying Prevention Month. The Expect Respect resolution was approved by the DPSCD Board of Education during the September board meeting as a call to action for the District to foster positive relationships.

Our Pledge

I pledge to "Expect Respect" by excersing character traits as guided by the District's Code Values and corresponding character traits and agreeing to the following:

  • Read the rules and regulations outlined in the Student Code of Conduct.
  • Teach and encourage my child(ren) to follow school guidelines.
  • Respect school staff and adhere to school policies and procedures
  • Notify school officials when conflicts arise involving students.
