School Shines Bright with Glow Party & Dance on Count Day

The gym may have been dark, but the energy at Maybury was glowing brighter than ever during the Count Day Glow Party and Dance! As part of PBIS Spirit Week, students lit up the gym in their brightest neon outfits, ready to dance, laugh, and celebrate together.

The gym was transformed into a glowing wonderland, filled with flashing LED lights, black lights, and glow sticks in every color imaginable. Excitement filled the air as DJ Coyote—our very own music teacher—kept the beats pumping with today’s most popular party hits. Students sang, danced, and enjoyed the lively atmosphere with friends.

Adding to the fun, a glow-in-the-dark slime table had students buzzing with excitement as they got hands-on with the squishy, glowing creations. Laughter and cheers echoed through the room as everyone joined in on the glowing good time.

To top it all off, each student received a juice and a bag of chips as a “thanks for coming” treat, making sure the day ended just as sweet as it started.

The Count Day Glow Party wasn’t just about fun—it was about celebrating school spirit, positivity, and community. With bright lights, happy faces, and plenty of glowing memories, this event is sure to be remembered as one of the highlights of the year!
