Count Day 2025

Count Day at Mary McLeod Bethune K–8 was full of excitement and school pride as students showed up ready to learn and be counted! While the younger grades enjoyed fun classroom activities, the 8th graders took a special field trip to explore downtown Detroit. They visited historic landmarks, learned about the city’s rich culture, and discovered how Detroit has grown and changed over time. The trip gave students a hands-on learning experience outside the classroom and helped them appreciate their community’s history and spirit. It was a memorable day filled with learning, teamwork, and school pride as Bethune students made every moment count!
