2019 Wayne County Manufacturing Day

On October 4, 2019, John R King attended the 2019 Manufacturing Day event. As part of the event, schools were selected to visit many different business partners that registered to host the event and provide tours of their facilities.

John R King was selected to attend the event at the Ford Rouge Plant Factory Tour. The students were able to tour the factory interact with Ford staff and ask questions. The students were very engaged and impressed with the size and technical aspects of the factory.

As part of the tour, we were able to attend video presentations that gave us a detailed back story of the Ford Motor Company and its' founder, Henry Ford.
