High School Options

Neighborhood Schools: Offer advanced classes, rigorous curriculum, technology, arts, music, athletics in all schools. To find your neighborhood school, use the school locator tool.

Application Schools: Specialty, application-based high schools and programs that offer students unique learning experiences. Learn more here.

Curriculum and Course Requirements

Core Subjects: English Language Arts (4 credits), Math (4 credits), Science (3 credits) and Social Studies (3 credits)
World Language Course Offerings: Vary by school; include Spanish, French and American Sign Language (ASL) and more - 2 credits
Physical Education (.5 credits)
Health (.5 credits)
Visual, Performing, and Applied Arts (1 credit)
Career Technical Education options

Advanced Placement, IB and Dual Enrollment Courses

Offered across all schools:

AP Courses: English, Math, Science, Social Studies - varying courses offered across schools.
Honors Courses: English, Math, Science, Social Studies - varying courses offered across schools.
Dual Enrollment: Enroll in college courses prior to graduation
- 2 classes per semester (6-8 credit hour)
