    • Science
      • Burns Elementary-Middle Middle school offers interactive and engaging sciences classes for students in the 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. Students receive in-depth, core instruction that is aligned to the Michigan Next Generation Science Standards. These science classes are designed to move students from simply just doing science but figuring out the "why" behind it. Middle school students will be introduced to the three-dimensional learning strategies; Crosscutting Concepts, Science and Engineering Practices and the Disciplinary Core Ideas. Lastly, Students will develop an in-depth understanding of content and develop key skills- communication, collaboration, inquiry, problem solving and flexibility.
