Dress Code

  • It's important that students come to school dressed for learning.  The Detroit Public Schools Community School District approved a dress code for all students.

Pants, shorts, skirts or jumpers: Navy blue, black, or khaki.  No denim or jeans. Pants must be fastened at the waist.  Skirts and shorts must be at least knee length.

Shirts and blouses: White, light blue, or yellow.  Shirts and blouses must have collars; turtlenecks and polo shirts are acceptable.

Shoes: Sneakers, dress shoes, loafers, and shoe boats are acceptable. Sandals, flip flops, open toe-shoes or footwear that might cause injury if the child runs or plays are NOT acceptable.

Thank you for helping us keep the school code by assuring that your child follows the District's dress code.
