Mrs. Linda Pratt
Principal Pratt earned her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Michigan State University and her graduate degrees from the University of Michigan-Dearborn in Special Education and University of Phoenix in Administration and Supervision. She has taught elementary, junior high, and special education classes in three states in her 29 years in education. Principal Pratt has been a school administrator for twelve years. She served as an Assistant Principal in Florida at a large junior where she served as the curriculum Assistant Principal and led the school’s special education compliance and state assessment programs. Under her leadership, the school held the highest reading proficiency in the district on the state reading assessment. Principal Pratt served as a transformation principal at an elementary school in Florida where she raised student achievement scores to earn a recognition letter from the Governor of the State of Florida. She has also served as a Principal of a center based school for exceptional students in which she developed a data collection system based on IEP goals for accountability. Principal Pratt has served as a member on several AdvancED school and district accreditation visits in several cities across the nation. On these visits, she had the honor to share her expertise in curriculum and instruction with colleagues as well as grow professionally. Principal Pratt never says a student cannot achieve. She believes each child is her own in her school and is passionate about listening to their voice. Principal Pratt believes in always wanting to make sure each child wants to come to school each day and making sure each child gets their own individualized instructional plan designed for their success. When not at school, Principal Pratt enjoys watching her two sons play high school football and college baseball with her family.
