She enjoys sharing her educational struggles and professional experiences with students to help them achieve academically. She is passionate about education and works hard to be a good role model and an advocate for students and families.

Mrs. Alvarez currently is one of the Dean's of Culture and Climate; she works on improving behavior in the building, having high standards for students, and creating a positive and friendly learning environment. Mrs. Alvarez earned a Master Degree in Administration from the University of Michigan. She believes her achievements will serve as motivation for current students. She tells students, "I am an example of what AoA has to offers and the opportunities an excellent Bilingual education brings in the future." She is excited to continue improving our school and providing extracurricular opportunities for our Tigers!
