Letter from the Assistant Principal
Dear J.E. Clark Preparatory Academy Community,
I am honored to have the opportunity to briefly introduce myself. My name is Yvette Schroeder-Willingham, and I have the privilege of fulfilling the role as Assistant Principal at J.E. Clark Preparatory Academy.
I am a Detroit Public Schools graduate and have been working in the School District for the past 18 years. My professional experience consists of me working with students from grades K-8, with most of it being an English Language Arts teacher.
I am a proud graduate of Wayne State University, where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership with Principal Certification. My goal is to maintain a positive learning environment where all students feel safe and have the resources they need to be successful.
I am very confident that our staff will work hard to meet the intellectual, physical, and social/emotional needs of your children, our students. I am looking forward to partnering with you and your children for the 2018-2019 school year. If you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to call our main office or email me. I believe open communication is very essential in a school and encourage you to reach out to myself or Ms. Hester with any questions you may have. I thank you in advance for welcoming me into this remarkable learning community.
Cordially,
Yvette Schroeder-Willingham
Assistant Principal
