….Short Takes…

…The evening of Friday, May 6th, will be ‘spit and polish’ time for roughly 1,200 JROTC cadets from 25 DPS high schools, plus schools in Center Line, Highland Park, Mount Clemens, Pontiac, River Rouge and Warren.

The cadets and their guests will attend the 56th Annual Military Ball. It’s an opportunity for the cadets to practice traditional individual and group social skills that are part of the JROTC regimen. At the ball, the new cadet Corps commander is presented along with the JROTC queen from each unit. Finally, everyone will be ordered to have a good time…and they will.
